$1 million scratch-off lottery ticket sold in Williamstown
Williamstown, N.J. (FOX 29) - A man bought a scratch-off lottery ticket and won $1 million in Williamstown, New Jersey.
FOX 29's Dawn Timmeney has the story.
It's the talk of Williamstown after a $1 million scratch-off lottery ticket was sold at Trader's News. The winner, who wants to stay low-key, is a regular there. His persistence ended up paying off big time.
Owner Sam Patel sold the $1 million multiplier scratch-off for $10. Patel, who got a couple thousands dollars from the win, recently bought the variety store.
"It was surprising--never expected it," Patel told FOX 29.
Trader's News is always packed, but news of the big pay out has customers dreaming big.
