'Blue’s Clues' host Steve Burns launches podcast

Steve Burns, the original host of the popular children’s show "Blue’s Clues," is starting a new podcast debuting this fall.

The new podcast is titled "Alive," and it focuses on the concept of "adulting" and "what it means to stay human in a complicated world." The new podcast is being launched by Lemonada Media, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Steve Burns released a viral video around the 25th anniversary of the "Blue’s Clues," which was the inspiration for the new podcast.

In the video, Burnes apologized to fans for leaving the show and was complimentary of his former viewers for managing their lives as adults and dealing with the responsibilities of jobs, families, and student loans.

This new podcast will feature Burns discussing diverse topics with guests to connect with the viewers who grew up watching him on "Blue’s Clues" and new audiences, CNN reported.
