Crews battle massive house fire in Gloucester County
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Crews are on the scene following a massive house fire in Gloucester County.
The flames broke out around 8 a.m. Wednesday on the 2000 block of Forest Grove Road in Franklin Township.
The homeowner’s brother who lives next door says his brother had been at work when neighbors noticed the fire and smoke.
FOX 29's Sabina Kuriakose reports a volunteer firefighter suffered a medical issue while fighting the blaze and is in critical condition.
Initial reports indicated the fire may have compromised a gas line and intensified the flames.
The fire remains under investigation.
