Fire crews battle vehicle fire on Walt Whitman Bridge
GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (WTXF) - Multiple fire crews battled a car fire on the Walt Whitman Bridge early Sunday morning.
Fire crews from Gloucester City, Camden and Philadelphia responded to the call just after 3:15 a.m. May 6 on the bridge.
Upon arrival, the fire departments found the vehicle full engulfed in flames.
Fire crews were able to rescue a person inside the vehicle. That person was transported with serious injuries.
Crews were able to safely extinguish the fire.
There is no word on the condition of the occupant. There is no word on how the fire began.
