Body recovered from river in Burlington County

BEVERLY TWP. (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a body was recovered from a river in Beverly Township, N.J.

Officials say a passing vessel reported seeing the body floating in the water Saturday morning.

New Jersey State Police have turned the body over to the Burlington County's Medical Examiner's office, which will perform an autopsy and identify the deceased.

No further information has been revealed at this time.
