Firefighter injured, 4 homes destroyed in Sea Isle City fire

SEA ISLE CITY, N.J. (FOX 29) - Crews were on the scene of a fast-moving house fire in Sea Isle City early Sunday morning.

The fire broke out on the 7500 block of Central Avenue shortly before 5:30 a.m.

A firefighter with the Sea Isle City Fire Department sustained minor injuries and was transported to Cape Regional Hospital for treatment.

Four residential units were deemed a total loss as a result of the fire, which was placed under control shortly after 6 a.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
