DiNardo, Kratz plead not guilty to Bucks Co. murders

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (WTXF) - Two cousins accused of killing and burying four young men on his family's sprawling Bucks County farm, have pleaded not guilty their arraignments on Thursday, sending the case to trial.

Cosmo DiNardo and Sean Kratz, entered not guilty pleas on Thursday afternoon after both were charged with multiple counts of murder and corpse abuse in the July killings.

Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub could pursue the death penalty in the case after filing notices of aggravating circumstances on Wednesday. The notices allow prosecutors to pursue the death penalty after DiNardo failed to hold up his end of a plea deal.

DiNardo previously admitted to his part in the killings and gave information about the whereabouts of one of the victim's remains in exchange for prosecutors not seeking the death penalty. Investigators found the bodies of 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, 21-year-old Tom Meo and 19-year-old Jimi Taro Patrick on DiNardo's family farm in Solebury Township in July.

Investigators say all four of the men were shot dead on a sprawling property, and three of them were buried deep in the ground inside an oil. The body of Jimi Taro Patrick was found on a different part of the property.
