Man killed when gunfire erupts inside Newark restaurant
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - A shooting inside a restaurant in New Jersey's largest city has left a man dead.
But it's not clear what sparked the shooting, which authorities say occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday in the No. 1 Chinese Restaurant in Newark.
Witnesses say the shooter fired several shots before fleeing, including at least six bullets that riddled a window. It's not clear if the man killed was the shooter's intended target.
