Norristown firefighters battle heavy smoke in three story dwelling fire
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WTXF) - A two alarm fire has firefighters in Norristown battling heavy smoke.
Firefighters were called to George Street a little after 5:30 p.m. February 2. Fire crews came upon heavy flames and smoke in a 3 story twin home.
Additional fire crews from surrounding regions were called in the help battle the blaze.
There were no injuries or transports as a result of the fire in the dwelling.
An accident occurred at 4th and Bridge with a fire truck that was responding to the fire. There were no reported injuries as a result of the accident.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
