One person injured after car fire in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WTXF) - One person was injured after a car fire in Tioga-Nicetown.

Fire crews responded to a call for a car fire at 19th Street and Hunting Park Avenue Sunday just after 4:15 p.m.

Firefighters discovered the car with flames shooting out of the engine when they arrived.

The driver of the vehicle on fire was transported to Einstein Medical Center with unknown injuries. Their condition has not been disclosed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
