Police introduce litter of new 'paw enforcement' recruits

Queensland Police have welcomed nine adorable new recruits to their ranks, which they're calling the "P Litter."

Punch, Pistol, Phate, Pammy, Pearl, Phoenix, Prada and Pepper will undergo socialization training with foster caretakers for the next 12 to 18 months until they're ready for their operational duty training.

Their mom, Xena, was the department's first ever active working police dog to fall pregnant and give birth to a litter of pups, according to Queensland Police.

The video shows the 8-week-old pups full of energy to explore, make friends and solve crime.
