Police search for woman who escaped custody in Upper Darby

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WTXF) - Upper Darby police say they are searching continuing their search Friday morning for a woman who escaped from constable custody at the Secane District Court.

It happened Thursday afternoon.

According to police, they are looking for 27-year-old Carolyn Quiah who resides in Glenolden. Police say she is believed to be in the Primos Secane area. They also say it's believed she is completely naked.

Police are urging residents to keep their homes and cars locked.

Police say Quiah tried to steal a car from an 82-year-old man before fleeing on foot.
