Police: Suspect sought in Frankford armed robbery
FRANKFORD (FOX 29) - Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a Boost Mobile store at gunpoint in Frankford on Monday.
According to reports, an unknown man entered the store located on the 4000 block of Frankford Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m., and pointed a handgun at two employees.
The suspect allegedly ordered on of the employees to lay on the ground and demanded money from the other worker.
Police say the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and was spotted heading south on Frankford Avenue.
Police have not offered a description of the suspect at this time, but store surveillance footage shows a man in a light colored jacket and dark colored pants.
