Reports: Eagles sign tight end Richard Rodgers to a 2-year deal

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport, the Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed tight end Richard Rodgers to a 2-year deal.

Rodgers' first season with the Eagles was marred by injuries. The 27-year-old appeared in seven games with the Birds in 2018 and made one reception for seven yards.

Before coming to Philadelphia, Rodgers was a target of Aaron Rogers' in Green Bay. His best season as a Packer came in 2015 when Rodgers logged 8 touchdowns and averaged 40 recieving yards in 16 game.

Since being drafted out of the University of California in 2014, Rodgers has averaged 17 yards per game and found the endzone 13 times.
