Good Day Philadelphia spent part of Wednesday morning doing just that.

How suicide impacts lives beyond immediate families

Preston & Steve join Good Day Philadelphia to discuss the tremendous impact of suicide.

Mike and Alex were also joined by a panel made up of Jodran Burnham, Kevin Hines, and Dr. Argie Allen-Wilson. 

Burnham, Director of Training Your Mind in Ardmore, talked about depression and his attempt at death by suicide in 2007 – while he was a senior at Upper Merion High School.

Suicide attempt survivors discuss their journeys

Jordan Burnham, Kevin Hines, and Dr. Argie Allen-Wilson join Good Day Philadelphia to discuss the impact of suicide and the stigma of mental health.

Hines also shared his story, having survived jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge in 2007. 

Dr. Allen-Wilson, of F.A.I.T.H. Connects & Connections Matter, also joined the panel to discuss ways to break down the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
