1 dead, suspect arrested following SWAT situation
WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - SWAT teams were called out to a situation in West Philadelphia early Wednesday morning that left one man dead.
Officers responded to the 6000 block of Vine Street around 4:00 a.m. after neighbors called police to report gunshots.
When police arrived on scene, they discovered 25-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds on the first floor. The victim was and taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police tell FOX 29 they arrested a 23-year-old man hiding on the second floor of a home just before 5:30 a.m.
