$1 million Powerball ticket sold in Burlington County

Following this week's major Mega Millions jackpot, lottery fever is now spreading as the Powerball jackpot continues to grow, and local players are cashing in!

Another $1 million ticket was sold in New Jersey for Wednesday's drawing. It's one of several that have been sold in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in recent Mega Millions and Powerball drawings.

The New Jersey lottery says this seven-figure ticket was sold at the Rite Aid on the 200 block of Sunset Road in Willingboro, Burlington County.

A total of eight other tickets sold in New Jersey won $50,000 prizes.

With no big winner taking home the $620 million jackpot Wednesday, the jackpot went up to $750 million Thursday morning. The next drawing will be Saturday.
