A 14-year-old Darby boy was killed after an apparent accidental shooting.
DARBY, Pa. - A tragic update in Darby after police say a 14-year-old boy has died after a shooting late Tuesday night.
SKYFOX was live over the scene on the 400 block of Darby Terrace, where the shooting happened around 10:15 p.m.
The teen boy was rushed to CHOP in critical condition, where he died a short time later, according to authorities.

Police say the incident appears to be an accidental self-inflicted shooting using a gun owned by a family member.

Scary moments in Darby after police say a shooting left a 14-year-old critically injured late Tuesday night.
He suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the stomach.
Long-time neighbors describe the teen as a respectful young man. One neighbor said, "A very nice young man in the neighborhood. And a fun guy. Just a nice acting young man. I’m just gonna lift them up in prayer. They need that right now."
An investigation is still underway as police say there is no threat to the public.
