2 arrested, 1 wanted for rash of storage unit burglaries in New Castle County

Local storage units have been targeted by three suspected burglars from Connecticut, one of which is still being sought by police.

Aaron Kearney, 25, Deshawn Sawyer, 26, and 31-year-old Darryck Norris are all accused of ransacking and damaging multiple units at two Public Storage locations in New Castle last month.

Police say the suspects would arrive in a rented Home Depot van before entering with a fake account.

More than $35,000 worth of property was stolen in just one day.

Earlier this month, Sawyer was taken into custody in Connecticut, and Kearney turned himself into authorities after arrest warrants were issued for all three suspects.

Norris remains at-large, and police are asking for the public's help to locate him.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
