2 dead after small plane crashes in New Jersey, officials say

Authorities say the crash happened almost immediately after the plane took off from Bucks Airport, located right across the street from the accident. Two men aboard the plane were killed in the crash, according to authorities.

Two men have died following an airplane crash in a residential area of Cumberland County, New Jersey Monday afternoon. 

New Jersey State Police say troopers responded to a report of a plane crash on Parvin Mill Road around 1:52 p.m. 

The victims have been identified as Kristofer Noone, 24 of Pennsauken and John Noone III, 67, of Elmer 

Authorities say the crash happened almost immediately after the plane took off from Bucks Airport, located right across the street from the accident.

MORE HEADLINES: 

A neighbor who spoke to FOX 29 said she recognized the distinct yellow Aeronca 7AC aircraft as one that flew over her house several times. 

No further injuries or damage to nearby homes have been reported at this time. 

Parvin Mill Road was also closed pending further investigation.
