2 die after being found shot inside car in Norristown
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WTXF) - NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP/WTXF) -- Authorities say two men have died after they were found shot in a car that was in the middle of a Montgomery County street.
It's not yet known what sparked the Norristown shooting, which happened around 12:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Chain and West Oak Streets.
Authorities say the car's passenger door was open when police arrived. One man was soon pronounced dead inside of the vehicle, while the other was taken to a hospital but died there a short time later.
The names of the two men have not been released.
Authorities declined further comment on the shooting, citing the ongoing investigation.
