The traffic trouble is ending for those of you trying to get around near 19th and 20th streets, the local Vine Street, and the Ben Franklin Parkway.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly roads in the area are open again, hours after a tractor-trailer following the detour signs due to all the construction tried to make a sharp right turn at the intersection near the Franklin Institute and Free Library.

That was at about 2:20am. The driver hit a pole, and knocked down electrical and traffic signal wires.

Separately, a crash in the middle of the Girard Point Bridge northbound (I-95, lower level) had only one of the three lanes open.

Bob suggested taking the Platt Bridge from the airport area into South Philadelphia and Center City.

Unfortunately, it took many of you a while to get to that point, since traffic backed up beyond the airport into Delaware County very quickly.

Earlier, Bob reported slow-going after a crash on I-95 northbound near Academy Road.
