GLOUCESER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WTXF) - There's big traffic trouble on Route 42 northbound heading into the Philadelphia area. SKYFOX was over the scene when all lanes were closed.
Now, FOX 29's Bob Kelly reports three lanes have reopened, but an overturned tractor trailer is still blocking the ramp from 42 to College Drive, near the outlets.
The backup starts way behind, where Route 55 turns into 42. 511NJ reports delays on 55 northbound approaching 42. It's also affecting the end of the Atlantic City Expressway.
Bob suggests taking Routes 55, 47 and 30 as alternates and not the Atlantic City Expressway to Route 42.
New Jersey State Police predict the freeway should be open again by 7:30 a.m.
The problem started before 2 a.m. with a 3-car cash. Two victims were taken to the hospital. No word yet on their conditions.
