New details released after 3-year-old pulled from pond in Chester County dies
New information has been released in the drowning investigation of a three-year-old boy who died on Labor Day after going missing in Chesterbrook.
CHESTERBROOK, Pa. - The search for a missing 3-year-old boy came to a tragic end when he died after being pulled from a pond in Chester County on Labor Day.
Officers responded to Wilson Farm Park in Chesterbrook just before 7 p.m. and scoured the area where he was last seen.
The boy was found in a nearby pond within a matter of minutes, before being pulled from the water.
He was rushed to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in King of Prussia, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the boy was under the supervision of a nanny before he disappeared and was tragically found in the water.
Around the time of the incident, Tredyffrin Township police asked residents in the area to avoid the area surrounding Wilson Farm Park due to an increase in police activity, including helicopters.

Tredyffrin Township police provide more detail after a three-year-old boy died after being pulled from a pond in Chester County.
"We're still investigating, we're still in the very preliminary stages of things," said Captain Tyler Moyer, Tredyffrin Township Police Department. "Right now our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we're trying to help them out as best we can. So as we go through the night and tomorrow morning we'll get a little more information."
Police are looking into gaining more information as there are cameras that surround the park.
