Crews battle overnight fires

One firefighter was injured as sources say another person was killed during overnight fires.

Philadelphia police say a house fire claimed the life of a 70-year-old man late Saturday night.

Fire crews responded to the blaze on the 1600 block of Fontain Street around 10:43 p.m. It was placed under control less than 30 minutes later.

The man's body was found inside the home. His identity has yet to be released.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
