While arresting two suspects who fled from a traffic stop in Florida, a tiny female pit bull puppy also emerged from inside the car.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office tried to make a traffic stop on a black Mitsubishi. The incident occurred on September 2 in the 3600 block of South Pine Avenue in Ocala. The vehicle didn't stop, and a pursuit began, deputies said.

The vehicle turned east onto SE 31st Street, then into the parking lot of Ocala Fire Rescue's Station 7. During this time, the passenger, 40-year-old Daniel Jones, tossed a large bag out the window.

Eventually, the suspect's vehicle stopped. In body camera video, both suspects were seen exiting the car. First the driver, 29-year-old David Lolley, was arrested, but as Jones exited, he had something in his hand - a puppy in the palm of his hand.

Both were arrested and faces several charges, including possession of drugs. After searching the vehicle, deputies said they found meth, syringes, heroin and a loaded firearm. Lolley claimed the syringes were on him because he was a diabetic, but deputies said there were heroin residue on them.

The female pit bull puppy was given to Marion County Animal Control. The suspect will have to provide proof of ownership in order to pick her up.
