Beaver causes damage at Md. dollar store while 'shopping' in Christmas section
CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office had an interesting encounter while responding to a destruction of property call at a Dollar General store in Charlotte Hall.
When an officer arrived at the store at around 10 p.m. Monday, a beaver was found to be the culprit causing the ruckus.
The beaver apparently wandered into the store and pictures tweeted by the sheriff's office showed the beaver browsing around and causing damage in the Christmas section of the store.
Thankfully, the incident was resolved peacefully.
