Philadelphia (WTXF) - The Philadelphia Phillies and Live Nation announced on Thursday that six-time Grammy Award winning artist Billy Joel will return to Citizens Bank Park on May 29.
The soon-to-be 70-year-old musician will continue his stadium residency for the sixth straight year, which is more than any artist in the arena's 15-year history.
"Billy Joel's past performances at Citizens Bank Park have been exceptional which is why his fans in Philadelphia return year after year," said Phillies Executive Vice President David Buck.
American Express cardholders and Ticketmaster Verified Fan members will get first dibs on tickets purchase opportunities starting Jan. 7th and 10:00 a.m. through Jan. 10 at 10:00 p.m. Tickets purchase for the general public will follow on Jan. 11.
