Boy, 13, stabbed with scissors at Philadelphia school; 14-year-old in custody
PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating after a stabbing unfolded inside a school in the city's Feltonville section Wednesday morning.
A 13-year-old boy was stabbed inside a classroom at Community Council Learning Academy on North Front Street around 9:15 a.m.
"A student injured another student with a pair of scissors," the Philadelphia School District said in a statement.
He suffered superficial stab wounds to his arm, and was treated by paramedics.

Police say a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody, and a weapon was recovered.
The school was temporarily placed on lockdown.
Details about what led to the stabbing have yet to be released.
