Many people did not think the Philadelphia Eagles would win the Super Bowl.

Jennifer Sullivan was one of those people. So, she was willing to bet that they wouldn't--the payoff being that her fiance Patrick Hanks could don an Eagles jersey at their May wedding.

The Eagles, of course, defeated the New England Patriots 41-33, delivering the franchise its first ever Super Bowl victory.

Patrick Hanks happily fulfilled his obligation Saturday at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie, Pa.

Moments before saying, "I do," Hanks removed his suit jacket and pulled a Carson Wentz jersey out from the brush behind the wedding officiant to wear with pride.

Wedding guests joined in on the fun, bursting into a celebratory Eagles chant.

After all, a bet is a bet.
