Bride-to-be responds to body shamers on social media

A bride-to-be responded to body-shamers on Instagram in the best way.

Last week, Mzznaki Tetteh and her boyfriend, Kojo Amoah, posted a series of photos taken for their engagement on Instagram.

One of the photos shows Amoah lifting up his girlfriend, Tetteh, who works as a nurse in Accra, Ghana, according to Daily Mail.

The photoshoot gained a lot of traction form social media users. Some users commented with positive remarks, but others took it as an opportunity to body-shame Tetteh.

Among the negative comments were things like, "RIP that mans spine" and "I gotta hand it to him his arms are stronger than my last relationship."

The photo was shared on Twitter by accounts who continued to poke at Tetteh's weight.

Tetteh, however, had a response for her haters.

Tetteh posted a photo on Instagram with a caption that read, "Still confident...your rubbish comments ain't ruining my happiness...thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes...am honoured."

Tetteh and Amoah are set to be married on June 25.
