Residents in Buckingham Township are on edge after home burglaries over Labor Day weekend.

Kim Starkey is several doors down from houses broken into over the Labor Day weekend, which is rattling the small and normally quiet 4500 of French Drive in Buckingham Township, Bucks County.

"We figured we're smaller homes. We figured the big homes around here would get more break-ins. It can happen anywhere," she said.

Police say on the night of September 1st. someone busted into a woman's house while she was home alone and terrified her as he charged through her locked bedroom door while she hid in a closet.

Investigators soon realized another house was burglarized. This time when the homeowners were away. Police say the thief stole a gold wedding band and two Council Rock class rings: a 1977 red stone and 1980 blue stone with the initials "MD" inscribed.

Police say the suspect also tried to get into a shed but failed.

These burglaries come days after three more at businesses along US-202 through August.
