Camden girl riding bike struck, killed by car

CAMDEN, NJ (WTXF) - A girl was killed after a car hit the curb and flipped onto the sidewalk.

"I seen that with my eyes! I was like, "Oh, Lord Jesus what's going on?"

Belma Ramos Morales recalls the terrifying crash at State and 5th Streets in Camden that ended up taking the life of an 8-year-old girl who was just riding her bike on a nice warm February day, according to witnesses.

It was around 4:15 Thursday afternoon when investigators say a car driven by a man in his 80s lost control--hit the curb and flipped --striking three people including the girl.

The scene quickly turned chaotic.

Officials say that little girl died from her injuries at a hospital.
