Car slams into family's living room in Plymouth Meeting
PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA (WTXF) - A Montgomery County family was woken up at about 12:45am when a car hit their house and the impact was so strong, the car ended up completely inside. Luckily, nobody inside was hurt.
It happened in the 1300 block of Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting.
Police said the car was barreling down the street very fast and the driver ended up going through the home's picture window and part of a brick wall - into the living room.
It's now full of rubble.
The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Crews worked to get the car out and boarded up that large hole in the house.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and there's no word yet when the family will be allowed back inside.
