A SEPTA transit police officer stopped an attempted robbery on the Market Frankford Line in Kensington.

Lt. Michael Wright was patrolling a train approaching the Huntingdon station just before 8 p.m. Wednesday night when the incident happened.

As the doors of the train opened, police say Lt. Wright saw 33-year-old Zoilo Greo snatch a cell phone right out of a teen's hand and run.

Surveillance video shows the officer charging out of the train and tackling the would-be robber.

The teen got his cell phone back. Police say Greo has been charged with robbery.
