NEW JERSEY (WTXF) - Polls in New Jersey have now closed as of 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Tuesday's election included presidential primaries for both the Republican and Democratic parties, and also allowed voters to decide primary choices for U.S. House, county and local races.
Residents will be picking their party's candidates in 12 U.S. House races. There are no Senate contests in the state this year.

An Associated Press count Monday found that Democrat Hillary Clinton has commitments from the number of delegates needed to secure her party's nomination. But opponent Bernie Sanders is still pressing ahead and urging voters for their support.
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has already sewed up the number of delegates needed to clinch the nomination.
The state's 2.6 million unaffiliated voters could declare a party and vote in the primary. But they will then be registered under that party's affiliation.
California, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota also held contests.
