Chinese New Year celebration held at the Penn Museum

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - The Penn Museum celebrated the Chinese New Year January 26 with an event featuring music and dance performances.

2018 is the year of the dog.

Kung fu demonstrations were held along with arts and crafts. There was also a dog of the year Instagram photo contest.

This was the 37th year for the Penn Museum celebration.

Knowing the Philadelphia Eagles are underdogs going into the Super Bowl, Eagles fans hope the year of the dog will bring good fortune to the team.
