Cleaning up after crash involving cars, porches, utility pole
CAMDEN, N.J. (WTXF) - A violent overnight crash in Camden left a path of destruction. Seven cars were involved and there's a lot of destruction.
It happened at about 2am on Haddon Avenue near Newton and S. 9th Street.
FOX 29's Dave Kinchen reported the driver of a red car had to be extricated, and was rushed to the hospital in very critical condition.
Apparently, the driver hit several parked cars in the street and even hit a porch overhang, collapsing it and it looks destroyed.
Also, a utility pole was snapped.
Police are still on the scene and managing traffic. Haddon Avenue remains closed. Drivers on Newton Avenue drivers can cross Haddon but not turn onto it.
