Conditions slowly clearing but some places still slippery

Most of Monday morning's wet weather has fallen and the worst of it is over, but there will still be some tricky travel ahead until about 7am.

FOX 29's Sue Serio reports the type of precipitation depends on the temperature and most ground temperatures are above freezing. In fact, it was 40 degrees in Philadelphia before 6am.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly reports roads in Center City Philadelphia are wet, but there are slippery conditions north of Lansdale and Downingtown, where temperatures are cooler. In fact, Bob points out road conditions can change quickly.

The heaviest rain is still in New Jersey and Delaware, but it's starting to ease. (Click picture to the left.) Most should be gone by 7am, but there is some in the Harrisburg area. Stay with FOX 29's Good Day Philadelphia until 10am to see whether it sticks together.

Later Monday, the weather will improve a lot! Look for sun and a high of about 53.

Then, there will be more rain later Tuesday, ending by Wednesday morning.

Looking further ahead, it'll get much colder starting Friday and lasting through next weekend.
