RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTXF) - He wore the outfit that had everyone talking.
The Eagles' Jason Kelce marched in the parade of champions in a Mummers costume.
As it turns out, the suit was made a decade ago by James May, a Mummers costume designer who has since retired.
FOX 29 chatted with May in his office in Ridley Township. He talked about how the idea for the costume began.
May designed the suit for the Avalon String Band and it was created for an Irish theme.
May commented on how Kelce wore the suit, "He looked very good in it. He looked like a leprechaun with the beard and everything. He was the perfect guy to sell it. He has that personality."
May said that he hasn't met Kelce, but he would like to.
