Wharton State wildfire spreads to 98 acres, 75 percent contained

Crews are battling another wildfire that broke out at Wharton State Forest on Tuesday.

A wildfire that broke out at Wharton State Forest on Tuesday has been contained. 

Crews battled the blaze, which spread across 98 acres, near Tylertown. 

On Wednesday, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service announced that the agency "achieved 100 percent containment" of the fire. 

Basto Village has since reopened, but the Buttonwood Campground remains closed.
