CHESTER TWP, PA (WTXF) - SKYFOX was over the scene after two CSX trains have collided in Chester Township, Delaware County early Friday morning.
The incident occurred near Green Street and Felton Street not long around 8:25 a.m.
The trains appeared to have collided head on, and left two employees injured.
CSX says one train was hauling three locomotives and 64 empty freight cars from Richmond, Virginia to Pavonia, New Jersey, when it collided with the second train.
The second train has been traveling from Quebec to Atlanta, with one locomotive and eight intermodal cars with consumer goods and food products inside.

CSX released the following statement in response to the crash:
"Our priority is always the safety of our employees and the communities we serve. CSX is cooperating fully with local law enforcement to understand the circumstances of this accident, and the cause remains under investigation. CSX will review any outcomes from this investigation to identify opportunities for future operational improvement."
