Doylestown boy, 8, passes away after battle with brain tumor

A local boy's health battle has come to a sad end.

Little Dominic Liples from Doylestown has died.

He was in second-grade when doctors diagnosed him with a brain tumor this past spring.

His family posted an update on the Pray for Dominic Facebook page Wednesday afternoon, announcing Dominic's passing, exactly nine months after his diagnosis. They also shared a video montage remembering Dominic.

In those 9-months members of the community rallied around Dominic in his fight, and he was able to meet countless members of his favorite Philadelphia sports teams.

Dominic was eight years old.
