Dozens Partake in Pants-Free Subway Ride on SEPTA Trains

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF)-Some experienced what we would call a "brief" encounter on a few SEPTA subway cars Sunday.

About two dozen people took part in what's become a growing international event each year.

Pantless Subway Rides.

They started in 2002 in New York City, with no real purpose except to make people scratch their heads.. And laugh.

So FOX 29's Brad Sattin hopped aboard SEPTA's Broad Street Line with them.

What Brad saw on the subway's caboose, turned out to be, a lot of cabooses.

The idea is that participants act like they don't know one another.

And yes, it had people doing double takes.

As long as underwear is on, there's not indecent exposure, and no infringement on customers, SEPTA says it won't interfere.
