(FOX NEWS) - The coffee chain has revealed that ten menu items will be getting axed, starting today. The announcement comes nearly four months after Dunkin' Donuts eliminated a dozen doughnut flavors in stores across the nation.
According to Food & Wine, the simplified menu will start in the Northeast - affecting New England and upstate New York - before rolling out to stores nationwide by March.
The move to a smaller menu aims to result in "faster, more accurate service and a more consistent consumer experience from store to store," a statement from Dunkin' Donuts said, Food & Wine reports.

An undetermined selection of bagels, muffins and cream cheese flavors are also getting the boot, according to the food publication.
The news comes in the wake of Dunkin' Donuts' announcement that the chain will no longer use artificial dyes in its products.
