Emu spotted wandering in yards in Bucks County
Newtown Township police took to social media to say they spotted an emu. The owners say the emu poses no threat and police are working to get it home safely.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP. Pa. - Police in Bucks County have tracked down the owners of an emu that was seen wandering the area late Thursday night.
Newtown Township Police took to social media to share that officers had come across a strange sight while on Fourth of July patrols.
Officers spotted an emu wandering in the area of Stoopville Road and Rosefield Drive.

They were able to reach the owners, who say the bird escaped during the fireworks and poses no threat.
