Evesham Township search for suspect in vandalism at car dealership

Evesham Township, NJ (WTXF) - Police in Evesham Township say they are looking for a vehicle vandal targeting one local car dealership.

Police say on Thursday night the alleged thief trespassed onto the Elkins Chevrolet lot on Route 73.

According to police, he used a jack to steal a tire from a truck. Then, less than 48 hours later he returned armed with tools, according to investigators. This time police say he removed parts from a brand new pick-up which will cost hundreds of dollars to repair

"It's frustrating to come into work and see a $45,000 truck damaged," sales manager Derek Sabato said.

Police say the man has a noticeable tattoo on his right elbow. They're increasing foot patrols at all local dealerships until he is caught.
