Family displaced after fire in Camden County: officials

A family has been displaced after a fire broke out in Clementon Monday. 

At around 3:12 p.m, Monday, Gloucester Township police officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Kingswood Place in response to a reported dwelling fire.

Multiple fire departments responded and successfully brought the fire under control. 

No injuries were reported and no one was home at the time.

However, a dog was rescued by the fire department at the scene. 

The family of the home have been displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshal's Office.

Officials say this incident serves as a reminder to check your fire suppression systems, including alerts and audible alarm systems, to ensure they are operational.
