Flooding To Continue Despite Record Worsts in Some Towns

While the snow has made its way out of town, there's an imminent problem at the shore.

Strong winds still remain a problem, though the direction has changed. still a little gusty.

The major problem facing the shore this morning is the imminent high tide, which has been cause for a coastal flood warning.

With high tide expected around 8:00 a.m. more coastal flooding is expected.

Looking back at yesterday's floods in Stone Harbor shows that the flooding Saturday claimed a new record, proving to be worse than the flooding during Hurricane Sandy.

The good news is, overnight the water level did recede, likely with some help from the change in wind direction.
