Former Daycare Worker Found Guilty after Child Burned
HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A former daycare worker has been found guilty of felony cruelty to children after a child suffered severe burns at the facility.
The jury also found Eddye Pittmon guilty of lesser offenses including battery.
Damon Gaddis, who was 18 months old at the time, was burned at Discovering Basics Day Care Center in Hall County back in June 2014.
At first, the toddler's parents were told the burns were just bug bites.
